Warehouse cages are workstation equipment, never used alone. They pair with hand pallet trucks, mechanical forklifts, stackers, and towing vehicles. To match different handling equipment, the cages need targeted detail changes. Here are three cases. First, standard pairing. A regular warehouse cage works directly with most pallet trucks, forklifts, and stackers — the most common setup. Second, pairing with a hand stacker. A standard cage's foot cups are 100 mm tall, while hand pallet truck forks often exceed 100 mm, so the forks cannot slide underneath and cannot lift the cage. In this case we build the cage's foot cups to 130 mm on their own, so the hand stacker can pick it up without affecting the cage's original function. Third, pairing with a tractor. Here the cage gets a towing attachment and caster wheels, and several cages are linked in a train towed by the tractor — suited to long-distance, multi-unit turnover across the workshop floor.
