Real Photos of Warehouse Cages: Foldable Warehouse Cages, Butterfly Cages, and Wire Cages

Many first-time customers ask what a warehouse cage actually looks like. This piece uses on-site photos to show what a foldable warehouse cage is like. A warehouse cage is also called a warehouse cage, butterfly cage, wire cage, or foldable wire basket. Seen as a whole it is a metal mesh basket: the sides, top, and bottom are mesh panels welded from steel wire, with common openings of 50*50 or 50*100. The bottom is welded from U-shaped channel steel for reinforcement, and the four feet are stamped foot cups that let a forklift and pallet truck pick it up. The front usually has a small opening door (latch type). Once loaded, items are taken from the door without tipping the whole cage out. The side and rear panels connect with spring hinges. When idle, all four panels fold down onto the bottom into a thin layer that stacks neatly and saves space. The surface is usually cold-galvanized for a silver-gray metal look; powder coating is also available in blue, red, gray, and other colors for shops that care about a clean visual. If you are selecting a model, confirm the mesh opening, door swing, and foot style against the real photos, then match them to your goods and pallet size to set the spec.
