1. Materials The main raw material of a warehouse cage is high-strength wire drawn from high-carbon wire rod, usually at wire diameters of 4.8, 5, 6, and 6.4. The welded mesh spacing is usually 50x100, 100x100, 50x50, 50x25, or 25x25. The bottom is welded from U-shaped channel steel rolled by a cold-rolled strip mill. The four bottom feet are stamped parts, usually two stampings welded together. Foot height is generally 100, with 120 available. 2. Foldable vs. non-foldable A foldable cage makes access easy: when stacked, the small door can be opened at any time to take or place items without unpacking the stack, and folding saves even more space. A non-foldable cage is reinforced, carries more, and usually stacks more layers. 3. Caster cage and towing cage The caster warehouse cage has wheels under the bottom, usually two swivel casters and two braked casters, moves nimbly, and is mostly used on the production floor. The towing warehouse cage adds towing attachments on the left and right, usually with casters as well, so cages connect front to back and move freely across a smooth floor. 4. Role in a manufacturer The sturdy latch mechanism keeps the Meigu cage safely closed when stacked yet opens smoothly in any state for access. Spot welds bond points into panels to keep storage and stacking strong and durable. The anti-slip stops add strength and keep the upper cage from tipping forward and sliding off. The reinforced hinges add protection, the spiral hinges fold the cage flat when idle, and the bottom U-section steel reinforces the base for load and firmness.
