Making a foldable metal wire basket splits into mesh-panel and base-plate fabrication. Mesh panels: raw material is Xintongnuo Q235 high wire, drawn to 5.8 mm or 6.2 mm fine wire, cut to length, and resistance-welded into half-finished panels. Most panels are galvanized; some are powder-coated, with galvanizing ahead on rust protection. Wire diameter is a key load parameter — ask for it when buying. Base: plate goes through a bending machine; common thicknesses are 1.8 mm and 2.5 mm, cut and hand-welded into channel. Base layout is another key load parameter. Welding the bottom mesh to the bottom channel has two methods. Hand welding cannot guarantee every contact point; full-weld technique joins every channel-to-panel contact point by machine for stronger load bearing. Finally, springs and return clips assemble mesh and base, and the foldable metal basket is done. Any remaining questions, contact Xintongnuo service.
